C.O.P.

Citizen on Patrol

Citizen on Patrol volunteers are the extra eyes and ears for the Lewisville Police department.  This specialized unit, trained by Lewisville Police Officers, helps prevent and deter criminal activity through high visibility patrols and through their presence helping at community events.

The C.O.P. vehicle is equipped with police radios, emergency equipment such as safety traffic vests, flashlights with traffic wands, road flares and cones.

The members can be sent to aid police officers in various activities--such as traffic control for accidents, missing persons’ searches and abandoned and illegally parked vehicles.

Child ID

LCPAAA provides Child ID Cards to parents with their childs' picture, birthdate, physical description, thumb print and parents' information.

A Child ID is the perfect tool to help ensure your child's safety!

We provide this free service to the community and can be seen at various events throughout Lewisville.

Full Moon Party
With help from local sponsors, LCPAAA provides grab-n-go food to support the officers, jailers and 911 dispatchers when there is a Full Moon. On these evenings, criminal activity tends to increase and create police officers time restraints.

Officers and LPD personnel can assume their normal duties without the worry of their nutrition .
